Our members are a diverse and dynamic group of women with members ranging from stay-at-home Moms, students, business owners, nurses, teachers, writers, singers and so much more. We welcome anyone with a heart for giving and a desire to do more for their communities to join us. We welcome those who just want to be better versions of themselves to join us. We welcome those who just want to surround themselves with positive people in a judgement free atmosphere to join us. There is a place for you among the daughters of Anacaona. We welcome YOU.

Membership is open to all women who are interested in women's issues, community service, mentoring, and networking.  The DOA combine philanthropy with sisterhood among women of diverse cultures and backgrounds. If this describes you and you'd like to become a part of what we do then we'd love to hear from you. To Join DOA, send us an email and indicate your interest in the subject title (community service, mentoring, networking or newsletter). You will be added to our mailing list to keep you current on our activities and events and you'll also receive our monthly newsletter with tons of information to empower and motivate you.

DOA events take place monthly which include volunteer days, group mentoring activities, personal and professional development workshops, DOA health days, social events, and more. Through our volunteer efforts, we aim to empower ourselves by helping others and thereby empowering them at the same time. Our social events are aimed to establish genuine friendships and connections amongst ourselves and network within the group. DOA is not a support group or a social networking group, however. DOA is a community service organization.
